Product Vision
What Trovella is, who it serves, how it wins, and the metrics that define success.
Trovella gives people fun and useful things to do with AI, for everyone who has not discovered how much they can do with it yet.
The product hypothesis: millions of people pay for AI tools but use them sporadically because they do not know what to do with them. Trovella closes that gap through two complementary entry points -- an MCP server that makes users' existing AI apps smarter, and a suite of guided experiences within Trovella itself that deliver immediate, shareable results.
The Two-Sided Architecture
MCP Path (day-to-day value): A hosted MCP server that users connect to Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini. It provides cross-platform memory, structured research capabilities, and curated skills. Users' existing AI apps become more consistent and capable without the user doing anything differently. This path is an economic necessity -- AI platforms subsidize heavy LLM work at $200/month for approximately $2,500/month in API compute. Trovella enhances that work without bearing the token cost.
Trovella App Path (engagement + fun): Guided tools and creative mini-apps within Trovella itself -- AI image generation, a build-your-own-adventure RPG, personalized recommendations through a preference engine, AI tutoring, professional document generation, and lightweight chat. Each provides immediate, shareable value and can launch at limited maturity while still being fun or useful.
Both paths share infrastructure: authentication, user profiles, memory, preference tracking, and image generation.
Founding Insight
Kyle (solo founder) is the "knowledgeable friend" that colleagues keep asking for help. They see his AI-generated family paintings, structured research workflows, and cross-platform usage -- and they want the same results but do not know how to get there. Trovella productizes that relationship. The difference between "here's a recipe" and "here's a meal."
